For the brand Alterna, which is available exclusively at the Swiss wholesaler Sanitas Troesch, we developed «Alterna direta» a bathroom accessory series designed to complement today’s rectangular and cubic faucets, sinks, and sanitary ceramics.
To broaden the product’s range of applications and appeal to a wider audience, we strategically designed the series to offer a choice between round and square glass tumblers. This dual-option approach allows the accessories to integrate effortlessly into both softer, more classic settings and strictly geometric environments. The round version creates the impression that the glass is resting on the wall-mounted holder, while the square version transitions flush into the holder’s shape—resulting in a seamless geometric unity.

The Typ 11 shelving system by Unima is a clever and versatile design with all the hallmarks of a Swiss furniture classic. Commonly found in architecture studios and libraries, Typ 11 also has untapped potential for private living spaces and modern office environments. To align it with today’s interior trends and expand its appeal, we collaborated with Unima to refresh the color palette, launching the contemporary “Home and Office” collection. We paired this with a new product presentation, emphasizing Typ 11’s timeless design and functional versatility. Our visuals and stop-motion animations highlight the system’s unique features, including its nearly tool-free assembly, clever functionality, and modular design. To further support the relaunch, we provided design direction for the new website, ensuring consistent branding and messaging. By updating the product’s aesthetic and enhancing its communication, we’ve positioned Typ 11 as a relevant solution for contemporary needs, creating new opportunities for Unima to reach a broader audience.

For Meyra, a German manufacturer of wheelchairs, we developed a new design language that unifies the aesthetics across all models while enhancing functionality. The design emphasizes recognizability with a distinctive silhouette in the knee area and refined details that stand out.
The tubular frame profiles, integral to the design, were reimagined to improve ergonomics. Flattened upper surfaces on the tubes provide comfortable support and grip during transfers in and out of the wheelchair. By minimizing visible screws, the wheelchairs achieve a sleek, contemporary appearance that feels both elegant and lightweight. A core aspect of the design was understanding that a wheelchair is more than a supportive product—it’s part of the user’s identity. This insight guided us to create a design that feels empowering and integrates seamlessly into the user’s life, much like any contemporary product.

The ‘Less Tarp’ project aimed to explore new possibilities for FREITAG products by reducing the reliance on truck tarps as the primary material, incorporating alternatives like PET. In close collaboration with FREITAG’s internal design team, we developed a comprehensive set of design details, material combinations, and components. This „toolbox“ ensures that even with less tarp, the products remain unmistakably FREITAG. Using the guidelines we co-created, FREITAG launched the ‘Reflected’ collection—a testament to how the brand’s identity extends beyond its iconic truck tarp. This new line represents a contemporary evolution of FREITAG’s design language, paving the way to attract a broader audience while staying true to the brand’s essence.

The Signa accessory line by Bodenschatz was developed to reinforce the brand’s positioning of “organization in the bathroom.” The aim was to create a minimalist design language that complements the brand’s existing portfolio while integrating seamlessly with popular faucets and basins. To achieve this, we focused on high design integration, ensuring that multi-functional elements remained clean and contemporary. Examples include flange surfaces that double as hooks and a shower basket with an integrated soap holder and squeegee. A key feature of the line is a cost-efficient four-bar towel rack. By refining the engineering of its wall mount, we simplified production while maintaining the quality Bodenschatz is known for. Our work also included a competitor and trend analysis, identifying opportunities to expand Bodenschatz’s product range and enter new market segments with confidence.
